Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer at Ashworth Bros, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our production processes. Your responsibilities will include…contributing to a team responsible for planning, conceptualize, and creating designs for our new production equipment. Your responsibilities are to support Operations, R&D, Sales and Maintenance groups on developing of new equipment, maintaining and improving existing equipment and increasing capabilities for an expanding product line. You will spend your days actively engaging other team members to develop processes and equipment that meet the business needs.

Requirements

Your expertise and experience will make a difference as you bring:

A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering
Previous successful experience in project management
Proficient in 3D modeling, AutoDesk Inventor preferred and AutoCAD
Familiar with document control, AutoDesk Vault experience preferred
Knowledge of geometric tolerancing and dimensioning
Knowledge of ERP systems
Familiar with safety programs such as Dupont STOP and OSHA compliance
Being a self-starter, analytical thinker, change leadership (ability to initiate and manage change), initiative (reacts to short term opportunities and plans for long term solutions), organizational awareness, and teamwork skills.
